The local body participating chess first of its kind is being introducing in Thrissur to make chess popular. All the 88 grama panchayaths,municipalities and corporation are invited to send teams.
Team should be of four members.Details are sent to all local bodies. Players can contact their respective local bodies.
The registration date is post poned to 14th January 2011. Applicant should send filled application on or before 14th Jan.2011. Need not send draftalong with application,you may pay the registration fee at the venue.
The Mekhala tournaments will be on 16th and 23rd Jan,and Final rounds will be on 29 & 30th of Jan 2011.
